I am looking for suggestions for streamlining the migration process from one version of C4D to the next (having just downloaded R23).  Seems it takes me about half a day, between moving or reinstalling user data, layouts, libraries, third-party renderers, plug-ins and apps that are node-locked, etc. Some things, like dragging the content browser user data (8 separate files now) into the new user data, I can do. But minus a normal migration tool, I am looking for any knowledgeable tips about how a profession who can’t afford to lose half a day several times a year now when a new version comes out would go about making the process more efficient. Would be really nice if Maxon accommodated this more easily, as most programs do, if desired, that install on top of themselves or having some sort of migration manager.
