Importing from Solidworks Composer?

I have received a .smg file that was generated via Solidworks Composer. However, I can’t seem to be able to import it. When I try to merge or open, I get an error prompt saying “unknown format.” But I thought R20 could handle Solidworks files?

If I know that it is private, I do not share files.

You might ask the creator if you got all parts of the file.
