How do i emit particles or thinking particles from a null/location on the clone?

I want to have my moving/scaling clones emit particles that i can clone other things onto.  The example shows cloned pyramids floating around, but, i can’t seem to get the emitter to clone as well.

Another option might be emitting Thinking Particles from those locations, I would be happy with that.

Thanks for the file, tech, and the extra information.

Please have a look at the file below.

I would suggest to Cache the MoGraph set up.

Is this working for you? Please note the Null Object> Emitter_Rot, which is there just to rotate the emitter in the wanted direction.

Let me know if you need anything else, I’m happy to look into it.

All the best, stay safe, stay healthy.

What if the scale on the random effector is turned on?  it appears to be static based on the original sizing.  Is there a way to extract the desired point information after ALL effectors have worked?  I would hate to do the math of the effectors in xpresso when the nodes seemingly do it for me.  Does this make sense?

How about this on below, tech?

Project file:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/wfgRK9Y3bkANF2VRiVXvUcauLeVWLgwh1xxcWIN80ML

I’m happy to look into any other idea you might have.

As a side note, if the particle emitter would always be in the same position, perhaps have the objects axis positioned there. This would allow having the object scaled while the position of the emitter has no need for a change.

My best wishes, stay safe, stay healthy.

Thank you for your help!  Here is a more specific file that shows a graph moving around.

I’m trying to get the dollar signs to come from the top of the graph columns.  The graph is created with both animation and mograph.  Maybe I could bake that information, but I’m worried I would lose the ability to edit.

Another idea would be creating a grid, but then could i use the graph itself as a mograph field to scale?

Thanks again for your help!

Two questions, tech:

The Dollar signs, are they coming out of the columns, but getting then stopped by the blue bar? Are the Dollar signs above the blue bar gone?

Cheers

the dollar signs come out of the top of the columns
i was going to use mograph plain effector to shrink and fade them before the blue bar.

Thanks for the information, tech.

Please have a look at the file below:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/gpRwWHbvFo1iKrxYhMTsevppT3yItv9pPn9vLnHD5ZJ

Here is a short pointer to some key features (one minute long)
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/KOmACLrk8My8L9BhJsmjo6XforFzHk5yACwdCw54LKb

The Cloner.driver can be set to any number of clones. It always produces the top end Pos.Y information of the bars. The other cloner is always on the bottom.
Each bar can be animated with a Cube-Field. I have two of them inside. Or just by the Random effector.

There is a “Kill_TP_Pos.Y” null object. The Y position of this object will kill all the particles above that Y value. Animate the Null, if needed.
The Dollar signs are in an extra Cloner, and their positions are TP based.

I hope that is a little bit simpler than the file before.

Add the Effectors that you need accordingly.

Enjoy
