Hi all

I have a soundfile that I would like to use to drive the light intesity of an arnold light. To recreate a strobe light. 

It’s my first try in expresso. there are a lot of tutorials out there but for some reason i’m doing something wrong. Is this not the way they should be connected?

The Sound Effector> Parameter> Weight slider is set to 100%
The Light is connected to the Weigh.Out of the Sample node

I’m not aware of any problems with Arnold and this setup. If needed, you might have to bake the Light> Intensity.
Let me know if there is any other question, I’m happy to look into it.

The Xpresso> Sample Node> Output> Strength is a combination out of several parts inside the Effector. This includes the Falloff. If you like to continue with the Strength output, you have to place a solid (100%) into the falloff field list.
