So I have two quick questions, so I tied them into one post
Question 1.
If I make a selection of part of a plane that has been converted to polygons, the action point is in the center of the selection. If I wanted to rotate from the edge of the selection, how do I do this? Under the rotate tool, there seems to be some options, but none say mouse. To be clear, I want the center of my rotation to be where I click my mouse in the side view.
Question 2.
I have a large beach sand scene. I want to have some texture displacement on the foreground sand to show more detail, so I need more polygons in the sub patch. The sand goes back a few 100 yards, so I don’t need that much mesh resolution away from camera. So, is there a way to base resolution on the distance of the camera? I’m familiar with some other programs with this, but cant seems to find it for Cinema.
Thanks!
