Hi!

Looking for someone who can explain what happens at 00:30 sec in this video:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/im7trZXZ9RkfOMWQ4SSs5vKVPbSSEpgez8xtEhvhKw3?ref_=cd_ph_share_link_copy
the other steps seem okay to follow up on… and so does the second video.

and/or

b)a little semi-procedural c4d-setup to create cracks/gaps in geometry (no simulation needed) by painting vertex maps onto geo (as you suggested).

If you are interested in my offer, please contact me at klimas[nospaceinbetween]md[at]gmail[dot]com for further details.

Thanks.

edit: oh and whatever the outcome might be or whatever c4d file I’ll end up with,
I’ll post it for all the other average-Joe-type of guys like me to mess around with.

Best,
Michael

Hi Michael,

The video at :30s is doing a line cut command. The plane is selected and then he presses M and the K. When the line cute tool is activated he presses CONTROL/COMMAND key on the spline and it cuts the plane along the spline. Hope that helps.
