Dynamic not Working

I created the file of cloned three spheres and two polygon trays and two tubes as spheres to roll down. I applied a Dynamics Body tag with Cloner (for sphere), two trays and two tubes. I set the Dynamics on for spheres, but off for trays and tubes. In my animation the cloned spheres fly in the air and not rolling down on the lane I created. I need help.

Hi Bun-H,

Please check your Cineversity Private Message [PM], I have created an upload link for you.

I will have a look into the scene. If there are any concerns about publically sharing of any content, please let me know.

Please delete anything unrelated to the problem out of the scene, I get often complete scenes and have to dig through stuff.

All the best

Thanks for the file, Bun-H.

Selected all the Dynamic tags from the list under the “LANE” Null object. All four at the same time.

Then go to: Attribute Manager>> Collision> Shape: Set it to “Static Mesh”.

Press play. On sphere will get lost as the Tube is too short, move it. the time will not be sufficient, so extend it.

Then you should see a full “cycle of action”.

The standard Shape is more like an egg around the whole object, as you have seen it in the initial set up. It creates a simplified calculation and is preferable in most “mass” scenes. But if the shape of the objects matters and is not given with any other option, use this or even the Moving Mesh. Note that a sphere is perfectly fine with the default.

All the best
