Coordinated movement of two objects

I have two objects, A and B. They need to move together to a new position as if they were one object. Then Object A needs to rotate 180 degrees and then back 180 degrees while object B stays stationary. Then both objects need to move back to the original position together.

I’ve tried moving them and setting key frames, but A and B “slip” relative to each other during the move, then re-align.

I think I’m missing something quite simple.

Thanks

Hi Andrada,

How about that: see attachment.

Please let me what you need differently.
(There are many ways to do it, e.g, a Constrained for the time being, only for the position, not for the rotation, and have it offset the position.)

If you have to match completely independent objects, you need to check the F-Curves, overshooting etc.

All the best

Thanks much - that helped a lot.

Edit: By the way, just thought I’d explain why I was having a problem. I didn’t realize that I could set independent keyframes for the parent Null and for the individual elements under the Null. Your example cleared up this confusion.

My best wishes.
