Is there a way to install R17 so that all my plugins, textures, layouts, customised palettes etc from R16 all come across automatically?

Please note that plug-ins and similar 3rd party items might have the need for an update. Which is case dependent and needs to be checked individually.
To my knowledge there is no automatic option for all these parts. Sorry.
