Hi Ben,
In the “ZBrush Fundamentals” you will find this entry on page 13:
• Rotate: Click and drag on this icon to rotate your 3D model inside the document. This operation is similar to orbiting the camera or point of view around an object in another software. It won’t affect the real rotation value of the verti- ces of the model (the model’s local coordinate system). When doing a rotation, you can
press the Shift key to do 90° constraints.
I guess that is what your are looking for.
There is no camera or view snapping in C4D to my knowledge. A quick change of the views are normally done with “F1, F2, F3, F4” or for the overview “F5”.
(Note, e.g., on some laptops you might have to combine this with the fn key)
(Other than that, you might set up cameras for specific views. perhaps not really the ideal in the sculpting interface.)
The easiest way would be to drag out the “Camera-Menu” and set it to Icons only, perhaps mount it in the interface (see image). I guess you work with a tablet, so a touch with the pen tip and your are in the right view.
Just a one minute clip to show the process: https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/x6D0pc95bxir95vwBbMgkLS47gwoH2rgIFl9IsnpjSM?ref_=cd_share_link_copy
Note that for each viewer window that is requested via F1-F4 you can set. e.g., a camera to get a very precise set of working cameras.
The movie can be downloaded.
All the best
