I have created a minimal model for a net, so I can place it in a cloner. (My intention was here a simple sketch!)
Then I have used a plane for the simulation of the net, when it comes in contact with the puck (though pucks are fast, not certain if that will work without care). I cached it.
The Net is based on MoGraph, I made a copy and connected all.
With the Surface Deformer, I “transferred” the Cloth simulation of the Plane to the MoGraph-Net.
That is in a nutshell all.
(BTW, with these interactive stuff, puck and net, I remember several years ago a similar question, perhaps first to get the puck move the net, and then when the net is cached animated the puck, more or less based on the net as collider)
