Hi SteveSavalle,

Fuel provides, well – fuel, and it needs to be ignited at one point. Either by setting a temperature or having another source do it.

Please have a look here and tell me if that works for you.

The Pyro ignites the Fuel based MoGraph “ring”. Please note, if you animate the Temperature, it will ignite as well.

Cheers

Hi tonvogels,

If I had your file (Zipped as an attachment here), I would be able to explore it, and fingers crossed, I can tell you something to make it work.

Here is a file I used to showcase that based on a different question. The task was to have fuel move along a bent tube and ignite at one point.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/dr41qthnkv6k6em/CV3_2023_drs_22_PYpf_11-21.zip?dl=0

Fuel can go by itself, based on its direction, or if you give it an animated “body”, both ideas are in the files.

Enjoy

Thanks for the feedback, SteveSavalle!

I have shared a link in post #4 with a few ideas. The directional arrow could be linked in position with a constraint if needed.

Let me know if there is something else, and I will be happy to look into it.

My best wishes

It has to do with my standard scene settings because I can’t replicate it.
I will ry it another day. I am done with 2023 for now. My MacBookPro is Bachballing constantly and the app is not responding from time to time.
I will go back to S26 and wait for a decent update of 2023.

Hi tonvogels,

Sorry to hear that, but beachballs are only fun close to water.

Have you explored if a Voxel size change will help? Or Caching the setup.

Besides, as another trainer (Jonas) pointed out, in the “New.c4d” use, sometimes parameters that are not the most comfortable to work with in some scenes are stored. Could that be the case?

Perhaps check with the support:

All the best
