Hello,
I’m really struggling to get our new high-caliber Team-Render computer up and running properly. I’ve got at ticket open with Maxon support and they’re struggling to figure it out so I wanted to reach out here and see if anyone has any ideas. I’ve got BOXX T4L with four RTX A5000 GPU’s as our Team-Render computer (96 GB VRAM total) (No NV Link). Running on Windows 10. I’m using the demo Kitchen scene from asset browser.
I’m trying to render over our network but when I use Team Render my render time is about 2 hours. When I open C4D on the Team-Render computer and run the same project locally it’s down to 4 minutes.
Things i’ve checked off the list:
The Team-Render computer is enabled in the Team-Render computers list
Redshift license is available on both computers
Redshift set to renderer in Rendering settings
GPU memory utilization set to 90% in Rendering settings
CPU and GPU devices are enabled on Team-Render computer
GPU Driver is most up-to-date. Tried rolling back to R462
PageFile / SAWP is at recommended levels for the number of GPUs & RAM
Network transfer rates don’t usually exceed 1.1Mbps, but both computers are on a 1 Gbps switch
Not maxing out RAM during rendering on either computer
Pagefile is on M2 SSD so transfer rates should be great
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
