Hello,
I’m working on a lower 3rd “home run” animation where a series of six cloned cubes flip up on-screen, play an animated material across all of them as a single “screen,” and then flip back down again. I’ve got my motion set up how I want it and my animated material built, but, for the life of me, I can’t seem to get the material to apply correctly across the clones. I’ve watched several tutorials where the standard approach seems to be as follows:
- Apply material to cloner
- On Material Tag, Select “Cubic” Projection, and un-check “Tile”
- In “Tags” menu, select “Fit to Object” (Select Yes for include sub-objects)
- Finally, in the Cloner, select change Fix Texture setting to “Straight” to “attach” the material to the clones
I’ve gone through this sequence several times, and as soon as I change the “fix texture” setting, the material seems to tile across the clones, but staggered in a way where the seams don’t match. (Image attached for reference)
I’m still fairly new to Cinema 4D, so I’m hoping there’s just some silly setting I’ve missed. Any help would be appreciated. Project file here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1SmceaoGK2HXQcffMhFFGkWZnkyia0K63?usp=sharing
Thank you in advance,
Chris
