Object Buffer not rendering

I set up a theatre stage scene that has a row of small “LED” lights at the edge of the front of the stage. The are actually polygon based diamond shapes that I put a luminant material onto.  I then put an object buffer composite tag on these lights. My object is to create a matte for the lights that I can use Knoll Light Factory Spectacular in AE which will allow me to create a small light flare on these lights.

My problem is that whenever I render the object buffer layer the matte is just black, none of the lights are rendering. Although I was able to deal with creating a matte to be used in After Effects using an alternate method, I am wondering why my object buffer did not work.  I used Mattematic to get the buffer into the render settings.

Hey Vrauckis,

Any chance to share just the polygons (lights) here as a zipped scene file?

Thanks.

Otherwise you need to check the support.

All the best
