Hi

Getting a funky VP glitch while doing a spline “Create Outline” command on S22.

The spline looks weird in point mode, but looks proper on Object mode.

Works fine in exturde.

Seems to happen only to a Rectangle spline..

Can someone plz confirm this behavior?

Cheers

Hi Gilk,

Would you mind to share the project file? Images are not telling the full story.

Thanks for your efforts.

All the best

Hi

Here’s the file.
It happens in a default scene as well.

Thank you for the effort smile

Thanks for the file, Gil, very much appreciated.

It seems to show up while the “Close Spline” is checked on.

For now I can only ask you to create your outline, leave the Close Spline checked on. Then use the Object Manager> Object> Current State to Object. Delete the original. I have done it many times, and it seems to produce a stable result.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Cheers, stay safe, stay healthy.

Thanks for checking it out.

Mind you it works fine when under Extrude.
Seems to be a graphics issue.

Does it happens to you on a new file?

I’ll report it to Maxon.

Thanks again.

The viewport has been completely rewritten, and I hope the new qualities out-weights the current problem that you experience.

A new file shows different problems, it certainly needs attention. Thanks.

Thanks for your efforts.

Enjoy

Hi Gil,

Thanks so much for your time.

I had it even with N-Side-Splines.

BTW, often a command-drag in the Object manager to produce a copy, while Close Spline is active, will work.

Have a great day, stay safe, stay healthy.
