Attaching C4D file formats

I tried to attach a cinema4D (ver 13) to a question, but the system said it was an invalid file format (the file size was 211 kb).  Is there a reason why C4D files cannot be attached or could it be that I have a corrupt file?

Hi satiu77,

The format that should work is a zipped version of your project file so you have the “.zip”

Please try again, but I notice some problems lately, but not reproducible so far.
