Unusable “Go To Pose” from PSD Settings?

Hi,

I find “Go To Pose” from PSD Setting unusable

Correct me if I’m wrong, “Go To Pose” relies on the “Driver” in the state of “Set Pose”.
Since the Driver is joint and this joint is most likely driven by a spline control,
the “Go To Pose” doesn’t do anything.

I’d like to be proven wrong as it is a bit cumbersome to track down values from my controls when I need to re-edit a
PSD pose.

Can someone confirm?

Thank you

Regards,
Ben

Hi Ben,

https://help.maxon.net/us/index.html#TCAPOSEMORPH-ID_TAGPROPERTIES
… scroll down to PSD Settings

Tip:
Note that by default, this command will only reset joint poses. This can be problematic when working with a rigged character, which usually uses other controllers to achieve a specific pose (for example, a Null target controlling the IK chain of an arm). You can select these other controllers, along with the joints needed for the pose, and record their current state using the Set Driver command.

I hope that works for you. If it seems to go only half the way, press the A key one time.

All the best

RE: You can select these other controllers, along with the joints needed for the pose,
Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying it.

Works as expected.
