Hi

I just switched to Cinema 4D and I am really happy about that. But to my great disappointment, I discovered that using Cinema 4D on a Mac, has some limitations, and I do not want to replace my iMac with a PC.
I discovered that I can not use Redshift and Octane on a Mac.

My question is…
Do you think that Cinema 4D on a Mac has a future. It seems like a lot of people are switching to PC?
Is Prorender an workable replacement for Octane?
Will Substance materials work with Prorender?

I really hope to be able to use Cinema 4D on a Mac. I am considering upgrading my iMac to this one, so I can use it with Cinema 4D, Prorender and Substance:

There are options to run Redshift on Mac (adding an external Graphic Card, note that this has some requirements), please check the Redshift forum about.
