In this video, Dr. Sassi give a short talk about how to use After Effects to compensate for problems that occur in situations where you don’t have a lot of control over the lighting. He discuss in detail how he created the reflection environment, starting with an HDRI created in Stitcher, then using CINEMA 4D to build a “tree” and other objects to be used as shadow casters / catchers. This then leads to a discussion on the uses of Projection Man in a shot like this.
