Is there a command somewhere that lets me select just the triangles in a mesh?  Or the quads?  Or N-gons?

I have a mesh made up of quads and triangles.  I want to select just the triangles and delete those.  I have my reasons.

Is there a built in command or plugin that does this?

Thanks.

Hey Shawn,

Please stay for that in Polygon-Mode, and have your object selected in the Object Manager.

Then go to Edit>Project-Info, after that to the Attribute Manager>Tab>>Structure.

You will find there what you need. (See image) Press + or - to add or exclude to the selection.

(You might consider to use the Optimize Function after it, to delete unwanted points)

All the best
