Hi thanulee,

The only useful way I could think of it would be to use the Spline Pen or Sketch Tool and create the “Hair” as spline on each object. Then call up a Hair object, while nothing is selected and drag that new Spline into the Guide Link field. Then set the Root selection as “Spline Guide. (USe snapping to set the starting point, each time.

As a side note
Here is a file, but I guess that is not what you are looking for. You need to render it.

XPresso:
You could set up an object that contains the amount of Hair you need. Then set each Hair to the position you need. To get all the points (segments) of each hair as well to this place, you take the new position and the surface Normal, then calculate the the Segments based on that. The best way to do that is based on an two step Iteration and with some vector math. However, I guess the manual way is faster.

All the best

You’re very welcome, thanulee.

I will keep it in mind anyway, as I always believe that there is something else, like a quick hack or workaround. The possibilities are endless and no one knows everything of course. So I keep searching, playing exploring and experimenting.

ENJOY
