Hi guys,

I had to install my c4d license on a windows machine at work, but now the projects over i want to remove all of my license keys from it, and use c4d again on just my home laptop.  If i left in the future i wouldn’t want it to be activated by someone else as i’d effectively lose my license.

Whats the best way to wipe all the license keys from it?  I can see the serial in the personalise section of the help menu but theres no way to select or delete it.

Thanks

Hey Rich,

Good question, and even the manual has no idea about. Which is rather weird, as every License holder is responsible for such installation.

Edit/ deleted entry after I got new information /edit.

My advice, check with the support, and please mention that this is hard to find, at least I failed.

Let us know. Thanks.

BTW, in every nicely managed studio, the back-up works of course. I have no idea if the data you have placed there is that easily deletable…

All the best

Thanks you Rich.

I edited the message above—what about data that is now in the back up?

Anyway, perhaps the support has an answer to that as well.

Best :o)

Hi again, just heard back and essentially you have to edit the registry, although for some strange reason maxon asked that i do not share this solution with forums or the community.  Not really sure why they wouldn’t want it public knowledge. ; /

Thanks Rich, then please ignore my wish to have it posted, I don’t like to bring you in trouble.

So,  feature request is needed.

Have a good one and thanks again!
