Scale Certain Parts of a Rigged Character

I built a guy using the Character Object for a project. A new project is asking for a couple kids in the same style. Is there a way to scale down the individual parts of my character? I know I can bring him into another scene, change the Project Scale, and then bring him back in, and he’ll be a smaller overall scale. But as you can imagine, scaling everything down proportionally just wouldn’t look right. So, I’m wondering if I can scale certain parts, so that the hands, feet and head are bigger in proportion.

Any thoughts?

Hi Intaglio,

Each character is rigged differently. I fear that there is no “one size fits all” solution.

It might be helpful to tell which character you use.

Besides that, perhaps that thread might give a clue, or at least a starting point for the discussion:

If you take just the preset of “Sancho.c4d”, you might notice that this isn’t really simple. There is a lot to acknowledge to discuss that theme globally.

As I mentioned the complexity involved to change partially a scale of a character, I would highly recommend to suggest that theme in a “Tutorial request”.

All the best
