Straightening Axis

I have imported a model from a CAD program.  There are several cylinders that are at various angles. However their Axis are zeroed out to world coordinates so i have no way of knowing what the actual angles are.  I have tried using the AXIS TOOL to get the axis to line up with the cylinder itself but have had no luck.  I have tried all sorts of permutations but can’t get an alignment.

I’d like to get it exact so I can match other objects to the cylinders.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

TAK

Hi TAK,

Please select at least two edges and use the “Axis Center” as show in the image.

No idea how your scene looks like but eventually (with a big ?) parallel cylinders can be done in one step. AGAIN, I do not know your scene.

All the best
