Anybody know why I’m getting this error. Just downloaded both C4D and Redshift to a new machine.

Also, If anyone xcould walk me through how to change my name from admin to something else?

I have the latest version of Maxon, C4D and Redshift. I believe it may have something to do with my GPU. I am running these on a M1 Ultra Studio Mac and whenever I uncheck the GPU in my “Compute devices” preferences the issue goes away. But obviously I want to continue using my GPU for speed.

It also seems to render fine, it’s really only giving the error in the render view.

Given that the CPU is now part of Cinema 4D would indicate that you have some kind of trouble with the Redshift 3D license.

When you click on the green “i” in the Maxon app after the Redshift 3D entry, does it tells you that you have the license?

Please contact the support; that should work with your computer. I have M1 and M1Max Macs here and they work just fine. Sorry for anything else; the support has all the gear.
