Hi There,

Just looking for a quick way to add a reference image to the camera/render view (not a matcher) but can’t find the background object in S26 - does it still exist?

The manual says it’s under Create > Environment but I don’t see anything: https://help.maxon.net/c4d/s26/en-us/Default.htm#html/OBACKGROUND.html?TocPath=Create Menu|Environment|Background Object|_____0

And if I search the menus for ‘background’ nothing shows up.

Does anyone know how to add a background object in S26?

Hi Ben,

There is no Background object in Redshift 3D like you have in the Standard/Physical render.

Most people I have seen using a Background image do this with the Dome light while the intensity is set to zero.

You find this under Dome Light> Environment> Background.
