Hi,
I’ve been trying to replicate a “paranormal” aesthetic with the collision deformer similar to that shown in this tutorial at about 11 seconds https://www.cineversity.com/vidplaytut/an_artists_guide_to_all_deformers_the_collision_deformer but I just seem to get more of a shrink wrap effect, but even that is not great.  I’ve tried adjusting all the advanced settings but nothing seems to make much difference.  My C4D file is at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NkTIZzV_mAgdUfdgHx8nUnhxolIo1HgQ?usp=sharing
Thanks
Ben

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the file and for using Google Drive.

Please have a look here:

I hope this little “cheat” helps, and perhaps, if used independently, it might even allow for some more dramatic expression. (Both elements have a bright yellow LayerBrowser “chip”. The lights are just to support it.)

All the best
