Hi,

i have a problem, im trying to add hair on polygon object that is inside a Subdivision surface. The hair works, but the roots are following the unsubdivided mesh. Any solutions? Thanx!!!

Hi info,

Typically I would say no. Then the Connect object comes to mind, which works until it is for a short moment inactive and the Hair setup is gone for good.

I have not used this in production, so please test this carefully: The idea is that the Correction deformer is building an “editable” copy of the geometry (AFAIK); this needs to be used inside the Hair object. Cache the Hair object when you are OK with the results. (Again, it seems pretty stable.)
