Hi!

I used the camera tracking with a 15” shot walking on the coast. Nothing special. The 2D tracking and 3D solver worked fine. But there is something weird; when I place an object, a cube or sphere; they appear where the camera starts, very big and don’t have handles to move them. Please help.

Hi jdiez,

Have you calibrated the scene? The provided screenshots tell me that this part of the workflow was not done. Images don’t tell me a lot; I can’t even see if you have a Lens profile added. A scene file is better, but I understand footage can be huge, and replacing the footage with a proxy will delete the solution.

Those tags will determine the orientation and scale and the origin point of the scene; this is crucial work. Without those Tags, the tracker has no idea if you shot a beach scene or the Grand Canyon from a helicopter.

Typically, it is hard to find some 90ยบ tracking features in landscapes, and typically, you have to place them, which can be done with some specific stones in the scene which need to be surveyed (constellation wise).

All the best
