Paint multiple channels at the same time

I believe I’ve seen it demonstrated where you can bodypaint textures in multiple channels simultaneously.

I, specifically want to paint white in the alpha channel, with every stroke that I apply in the color channel…or something to that effect:
Thus keeping the geo fully invisible except where I paint color…if that makes sense… (just as layers in photoshop work.)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ehmie,

Please have a look at the screen capture below, (S22).
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/Tz3CYk45C7DcPG8UsXOGpiaIJYKhnC9SDkoSHuItUnr

Two things are typically in the way, the red X is not clicked, so the texture is not loaded
The central part is, of course, to have these channels created, a texture is there, and the little Pen Icon is active.

Let me know if that works for you.

If you need to see more than the Lines of the object, place a new material left sided from the Color+Alpha material tag.

Thanks you so much. It was the little pen icon. I didn’t know to click on that.
This is so helpful. Thank you again.

You’re very welcome, Ehmie, thanks for the kind feedback.

Let me know if there is anything else, I’m happy to look into it.

Cheers, stay safe, stay healthy.
