Thank you Dr.Sassmannshausen,

I’ll open these up later when time allows. For now let me thank you yet again and just so you know why I’m being so particular (other than the fact that we’re in a perfection profession), there are fifteen videos this will appear in. They’ll describe various parts of the mouth that can be anesthetized by injecting different areas of the gums so this particular model will play a big part in them all.

I’ll make every effort to release you for others benefit and thanks so much for everything

You’re very welcome, Randy, thanks for the kind feedback.

As mentioned before, any question will benefit others, so please never feel to cut back on those.

My best wishes for your project.

P.S.: I couldn’t resist modeling this part as well. My target was here the connection point of the ring element with the cylindrical element.

I hope this makes the thread more complete.

P.S.: Another way to model, with MoGraph and then harvest the polygon.

Hmm. I like that method better. Thank you. It happens frequently that we walk away from something, think about it for a while and then from the ether comes better ways to approach challenges.

I’m building up quit a library of modeling videos that will prove to be invaluable on future projects. I can’t thank you enough.

Hi Randy,

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

Yes, the modeling method has to fit the artist, not the other way around.
I’m glad you see some benefits to it.

Have a great day!

Thanks a lot for the great feedback, LDReDD.

You certainly make my day!

My philosophy is that techniques and how-to ideas should be shared, as we all do completely different work (in terms of art) with them later on. This artwork should make the difference, not how much access we had to necessary information and solutions.

I would love to be able to “bottle up” more. I have seen by know how much it all has developed. (I was one of the demo artists at NAB 2006 premiering the MoGraph module.)

The feeling of having been part of this long journey so far is just fantastic. I hope there will always be a place where I can do it.

Anyway, I believe also that it is a good practice to know at least three ways to do the same thing. wink Well, that doesn’t always work, but sometimes we find even more ways to balance the other limitations.

My tech-love is along with the feature film and motion graphic pipeline, and with the two new companies inside of Maxon, I hope to play even more. I love to share and see “our” artists growing even more. Fingers crossed.

Have a great day
