File 01 regulates the amount of Delay based on the velocity of the main object. This is measured and indicated in the scene. I have set it to a slower FPS to evaluate the value that I place into the Range-Mapper Input Upper.
The file 11 works similarly, but it takes the “tail” from the main object and the tip of it from the “delay” path.
In both cases, the Range-Mapper Spline Interface will “shape” the overshoot dramatically. If the Output of the Range-Mapper goes down to zero, the secondary object goes back to the animated path.
