Hi,

Is there a way I can have a Linear Fall-Off Effect but in Sphere Shape (or Any Other Shape?)
Linear fall-off effect is permanent when it passes by. But for other fall-off, the effect is lost when the shape passes by.

You can check the problem here:

You can check the illustration here:

Is there a way around this?

Thank you

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the illustration and the description, I get your idea.

The Linear value on the one side is like the sphere in the inside (default). To make that point more clear, use the Sphere-Field and check the Remap> Invert option. [File11]

To get the illustrated effect of your image, you need to set the Freeze layer to Auto Update (eventually clear it after set up) [File01].

All the best.
