Hello Community,

Is it possible to create one atom array with multiple colors on these connecting lines?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Pong,

Here is a set up that follows your sketch. You can move the two Null objects to adjust the position and orientation. The colors of the Nulls (Display) is fed to the Gradient Knots.

A direct and different colorization per connector is not possible.

Let me know if that fits your target.

All the best

Hi Dr. Sassi,

Too bad we can’t apply specific color per connector, but these examples you shared are great and it definitely gives me more idea of how to avoid applying the color per connector, and possibly use gradient or tie with null instead. Again, I can’t enough say how much I really do appreciate your help. What should we do without you smile

Best,
Pong

Wait. THANK YOUUUUUUU! Dr. Sassi. I used your idea of using cloner to create Atom Array instead of Atom Array over Platonic and now I can apply a specific color to each of the connectors as I wanted!

You the bomb!

You’re very welcome, Pong.

You could use the MoGraph Weight and ‘paint’ color on each.

Well, it would be a value between zero and 100%, but with a rainbow gradient, you have a good variety to pick from.

Note that when you use only Add for the weight brush, 100% might be reached at one point, and it looks like it is broken, but 100% is the limit here. Use Abs instead.

WOW thank you sooooo much Dr. Sassi. This is video is beyond what I could ask for.
First, I thought only that cloner structure already got it for me now with the weight paint, Speechless!
