Emitted Objects Not Rendering

I have a very basic scene with two emitters emitting basic plane objects. I can view the objects in my perspective view but when I render, nothing. Am I missing something simple? I have never had this issue in the past. I have attached the scene.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Devoted,

I do not have a Redshift License. So, please check this file below:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/QuRLOCk3Qh949dFzkcmf0YOQyMYqS1igGdg5DRypfmd

If that works now for you, you need to cache the particles.

Main Menu> Simulate> Particles> Bake Particles…

All the best

Thank you for the fast response. I actually did try caching but it didn’t make a difference. I also just tried your file, still nothing. It renders my blue background but not the emitted objects. I had the exact same issue in Redshift so I switched the scene to physical. Maybe its a Redshift complication. I am going to rebuild the scene from scratch using physical first and see what happens.

Thank you

Thanks for the reply, Devoted.

You could export the file as Alembic, with Particles checked on. Then merge this file back to the C4D file.
I have done this for the first 35 frames:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/O4hzavqDoVepD7Tioa2vHUFcBchtOvEzGm2bcqDXOpH
Unzip it and merge it.
The geometry should show up now.

Cheers

I just figured it out, I didn’t set the birthrate render to 3000, it was set to 10! Duh! Sorry to waste your time. Stupid mistake!

As always, thank you!

Thanks for the update, Devoted.

I should have seen this as well, I rendered it only in the Editor view, as you mentioned that. It even exported it to Alembic nicely.
Honestly, I was not aware that the cache is split into Editor and Render as well. It is not mentioned in the Help Menu. I learned something today. Thanks.

All in all: Well spotted.

ENJOY.
