Hello,
I am wondering if there’s any way to save poses with the Character Object. In Maya, there is Studio Library and I’m seeking something similar. Thank you!

Hi blastframe,

To store poses can be done in two ways by default, in the Motion System or on the Pose Morph. These are not functions that are comparable with the way it works in the Python script you had in your link.

The Animation/Motion Clip system can take a complete “take” of an expression, but it can be “cut” like a filmstrip. The option to store and load it are given.
The PoseMorph has only a single pose storage, but only a Copy and Paste functionality, to receive or share the information.

To just store directly a complete dataset without the rig is not given by default. Since it is only a list of hierarchically organized data, I have great certainty that a Python script can be created.

To get something like that, perhaps ask in the CV Tool Box support, or directly at MAXON:

Cheers

Thanks for doing that, blastframe!

The more people need this feature and the more artist suggest this, the more attention it will get.

Cheers.
