“Burn” frame number on rendered image

Is there a simple way to print the frame number on the rendered image from within 4D?

If not, any suggestions for how I would keep a motext object in, say, the lower left part of the camera’s view (the camera is animated)?

Thanks.

Hi Celumbra,

There are two ways to get this

1. to render the HUD into the image, place your information in the view and it will show up. Render Settings>Options>Render HUD.  To get HUD information in the view, go to the Editor view and Options>Configure… Then in the Attribute Manager>HUD

2. Use the Watermark options (Render Settings>Effects…

To keep the MoGraph text in the View, make the MoGraph Text a child of the camera. If the Field Of view changes you need to change the position, which can be done via XPresso. Set the MoText to not seen by Refelections etc (Compositing Tag.) But I guess 1 or 2 is just sufficient.

All the best

P.S.: just for giggles, a “Slate” which I “wrote” a decade or so ago. Missing exactly that feature in r8. I updated this just a minute ago to English and r15, you might see the european PAL as starting point, as ancient left over (ratio 1.07) ;o)
