Hi
When I do a normal render I get the correct lighting - when I do a CV-VR for You tube render I get no HDR lighting through - ? I been through the Tut on the site but are getting the same results using C4d HDR and GSG HDR
Can someone spread some light on this - (pardon the pun)

Thank you

Hi adrian at abcdesign co uk,

When you switch to any of these VR Cam Render Settings, can you see the Global Illumination rendering option in the list? If not, go to Options [Render Settings] and enable it, set the settings as before. (COPY and PASTE works as well!)
Eventually check if the IR-Cache is working for the scene.

Please have a look at the clip below, it is one minute, and you can download it for private use. UHD for best viewing experience :o)

I hope that is working for you.

All the best

Please check this file out, download it if you like:

Note that there is that square like check box, but there is also the orange highlighted name of the preset. The square indicates what is used for rendering, the name shows you the settings (parameters) for the one with that name. In your screenshot, you can see clearly that you activated the VR Cam settings, but you show yourself not the settings (parameters) of it.

I hope the little one minute clip clears that.

My best wishes for your project
