I’m doing a landscape scene, but I don’t want the grass poking through the chairs, tables, and other objects.  How do I make it so the grass is not doing that?  The picture below is an example.

Hi Jamestown,

I have created a little one minute clip:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/h0byVqnwNBmwCwwGiZUE2D90rwNvbtqEDuZoybcqaqz?ref_=cd_ph_share_link_copy

You might download the clip for a better view experience.

I hope it illustrates the process. The rendered file for the density map can be fine-tuned in Photoshop of course.

If you need more control, you might use Hair instead, similar process, perhaps slower, but way more options.

All the best
