Picture viewer only renders one frame

The render and project settings (FPS) are synced, but no matter what frame or frame range I specified in the render settings, it will always render only one (the same) frame.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks much for you help!

Hi Atomic,

Have a look to the images below. In the Rendersettings>Output you will find an option called “Frame Range” [lower right in the images].

Please set this to your needs. Current Frame is the setting I suspect you have right now.

I guess (hope) that solves it, but if not, please provide a scene file with the problem, and I will check it.

All the best

Thanks of your quick replay, but that was not it.
The render simply overlooked what I specified in my render settings, it always just rendered the same frame even if when set to a manual frame range.

It seems that there were conflicting render settings active, I flushed all render settings and started over, (I re-entered the exact same settings again) and now it works ... very strange.

Hi Atomic,

Yes, that sounds weird. Did you use several render settings? Note that the little “square” left sided from the Render Settings must be “white” to have that setting as render setting. Even if the name of the settings is active [orange] does NOT make it the used render setting.

My best wishes

Yes I did make sure that the setting was active and the box checked - or at least I thought I was ... that would take the mystery out of it.
I’ll make sure to double check next time.

Thanks much!

You’re welcome, Atomic.

It is always kind of difficult to make these remote problem solving, and not to underestimate ones skills and care. As I write in a forum I like to mention at least what could have happen, not assuming that was a missed this time.

If it happens again, please save the file and share it, I’m happy to look into it. My philosophy is: A problem comes back until it is solved. So I love to get it done ;o)

Have a great time with the fruits of your project!
