Hey there!
Can Team Render Server Machine be used for rendering with a Team Render Client?

I am using about 8 machines plus mine with TR witch it’s kind of powerful, so I want to know if my machine can be used to render with the others.

I have send a message to the author of the Team Render Series (Note: Rick made an update for 16.050!)

The help/manuals tells:

Manual Reference> CINEMA 4D> CINEMA 4D Visualize, Broadcast, Studio> Team Render

Tip:
The Team Render Server istelf will not render.

The GUI of the server can be remotely accesed, scroll down the page mentioned above, you will find there the instructions.

I hope this answers your question, so, to use the fastest as “Server” might be not advised—but this is certainly dependent on the render speed, the net work-performance, the homogeneously of the render-farm-render-nodes etc. Something that I can’t discuss, and which should be left to people like Rick, with his vast amount of different set ups done.

Perhaps Rick has some more specific informations.
