I am trying to achieve the desired effects highlighted in green throughout the Helix of the DNA.

The items highlighted in red are what I need guidance in figuring out how to remove since it is not part of the desired affect.

Suggestions.

Please provide a small and reduced scene file. Images are nice, but my set up might vary and we invest perhaps more time on both sides than needed.

The left side works and the right side doesn’t. (Left and right as named in your project)
The left has a Connect Object, the right side has not.
There is the problem, the screenshot shows t with the Connect Object.
