Hello,

Maybe I dreamt it, but I remember seeing someone select multiple nodes and open a given port over all of the nodes at the same time.  I’ve tried different keyboard combinations like control, command, shift, tab, you name it, but nothing seems to work.

Am I missing something?

Hi Jerome Oliver,

I’m not certain if someone wrote a script for that, but I’m not aware of such a function in the native version. It is anyway time for me to read the manual cover to cover again, the forth time then ;o) perhaps I missed something in the last year.

You might suggest such option here: http://www.maxon.net/support/suggestions.html

All the best

Oh my!  Happy reading.  In printed format, how many pages would that be?

re shortcut: Guess I was dreaming it.

Yes, sorry about the missing option for multiple nodes. If I’m in the process of setting up a solution where I need multiple nodes of the same kind, I set up one, and then “control/cmd click drag” to get copies with that port set up I need.

The last time I read it in paper it was a little bit over 3,000 pages if I remember it correctly.

All the best

That shortcut I’m aware of, but problem with that is you then have to change the reference for each node in the attributes manager, so it’s even more work.

Ah wel, I made the suggestion with the link you provided.  Thanks for that.

Forward to the next lesson.  ;^)

RE: Manual.  I’m glad Maxon doesn’t print it anymore.  That would mean a lot of dead trees.

Hi Jerome Olivier,

I mentioned the use during the initial set up. Yes, later on it is not really an option.

Enjoy the next tutorial. If you have a -problem- let me know.
