No Isoline View in Point Mode

When modeling with a Subdivision Surface active, Isoline display doesn’t seem to work in point mode. Is this intentional, am I missing something, or is it a bug? I really need to be able to edit points with an isoline display. The other edit modes, edges and polygon, display isolines correctly. I’m on a new Mac Studio Ultra M1 128GB running Ventura, if that helps. Thanks!

Hi david.mceachern,

I can see that you are in Isomode (option/alt + A). You can see the lines, but you like to have the option to pull on a highlighted Isoline in point mode. I have not seen it.

I checked if I missed something and explored if there were any reports and older versions. It aligns with my idea about it. To stay in point mode, you must select the two points that define the “isoline”. That is how I work with it.

Perhaps check with the support:

All the best
