I am trying to build a deformer with “geometry modifier group” that can chamfer splines. it doesnt seem to work.

Thank you for the file, this is always very helpful.

So far, I can tell this is a node for the Node Editor, not for Capsules/Object Manager.

I found this confirmed by several developers.
