I share development work between Mac and PC workstations. I recently installed 2023 on both. Now when I go to the file browser and try to open a project I originated on the PC, the file name shows up with a questionmark in a box added to the name. Like this:

sc21 Warehouse Use Cases Assembly_Mesh.c4d

Attached his a screenshot showing the actual image.

Any idea why that’s happening? If I can’t share files between platforms, that’s going to be a real killer.

Hi fordmar,

I have not seen it on any of my machines in three decades; sorry, no clue.
I avoid filenames with empty spaces based on problems in the past with Windows facilities.

Try a file with a simple name and only standard abc only to test this suspicion.
