Good evening!

We would like to know if Cinema 4d has an option to encrypt video files or if I could use Adobe After Effects for this purpose.  Or both at the same time.

If I will transfer our video files from Cinema 4d to Adobe After Effects to compound one video file; which is the best or recommended way to encrypt it or protect our files.

Best Regards

Hi yguerrero2010,

Perhaps this helps:
To re-create the Game Look

I have moved your question to the Q&A forum; the Tutorial Discussion forum should be used only based on provided Tutorials. (Starting a new thread only with the Help button below the video).

Videos, as long as Cinema 4D can read them, never alter the source file inside of Cinema 4D. The same is valid with After Effects. They are both using the videos but do not overwrite those (But if you save them with the same name in the same folder, they are gone).

Images in Cinema 4D can be altered (BodyPaint 3D), but it needs an explicit “Save” command.

If you use Redshift, 3D video formats are not useable. This requires Images Sequences, which are often more efficient, as it is possible that only the needed frame (image) is loaded at the time of use.

Please think about Cineware and AfterEffects for your production.

All the best
