Hi,
I have this problem where hair do not stay on my alembic object. Even if i make alembic editable, hair are left on the original position. Is this a problem on my end or? Dont have a specific scene to share now, just remembered it randomly from my last project.

Perhaps, try to deactivate the Hair, and on Frame zero, apply a Hair object to the sphere. Press play.
