Ping pong keyframes

Hello

I’m hitting a wall with my Timeline knowlege.  Essentially I have a batch of keyframes for the intensity of several lights.  I want to ping pong these keyframes (forward, backward).  I could potentially copy/paste the keyframes and reverse them, but seems like the wrong approach.
I create a motion clip for all the lights, but then couldn’t seem to figure out how to reverse the motion clip…

Thanks for any input!

Hi Alex,

Please have a look here.

In short, the Animation-clip has a curve, which works as a time-mapping. Time to value, which means, if the curve is set differently, the timing is changed. An up and down curve mirrors the animation, is that perhaps the ping-pong effect you are after.

Less intuitive and quite un-managed is the Time-Track, but I wouldn’t really recommend it.

If I would get more details (example file), I might have other ideas. I’m not clear if the ping-pong is from one light to another, which might be best solved with Xpresso (from the animated to the inverse follower)

Cheers

Aaaaaaah! Yes…
Thanks Sassi, that was very clear!  Makes perfect sense, I had missed that attribute manager for the motion clip

Thanks again
